Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitarist as well as a music producer. She is the youngest woman and the first to be awarded a British House of Commons shield. Anoushka Shakar, who is just a rising superstar on the Indian Sitar is Anoushka. She's the child of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She spent her childhood bouncing around from London and New Delhi. At the age of 13, her first show in New Delhi took place. In 1999, she completed her high school education in Encinitas CA. Anouskha still has a promising music and acting career, despite being young. She has performed with her father on stage for many years. In 1998 she released her debut single album Anourag. She released the album Live At Carnegie Hall, a Grammy-nominated album two years following. The stage is a very large part of her career. She's played in many major venues all over the world. Anoushka Shankar's professional life isn't restricted to just music. Bapi The love of My Live is her 2002 book, which was a tribute Ravi Shankar. In 2003, she was an Bharat Natyam dancer in Dance Like a Man. Anoushka continues to grow in her professional career, and there will be many other things to be expected from this talented lady. Anoushka shankar is an English native who lived her early days between London, Delhi and California. In Delhi during his birthday celebrations for his 75th birthday, Anoushka made her debut performing the sitar before the crowd of just four years after her 9-year-old father. Anoushka gained many valuable experiences when she accompanied her father during his worldwide tour. The tour included appearances at Carnegie Hall and at Peter Gabriel's WOMAD concerts in addition to recording with George Harrison. To honor her position as an outstanding musician in the field of Asian Arts, she was presented with the House of Commons Shield by British Parliament.
